How To Clean A Paint Roller
In this week’s Painting 101 Blog post, we’ll be giving you a quick tutorial on the proper method for cleaning your paint roller. Trust us – it’s easier than you might think!
Cleaning Your Paint Roller
Once you’ve used your paint roller and are ready to give it a good wash, here’s what you’ll need to do. Fill a clean bucket with warm water and soap, and another bucket (a hose or a sink would also work) with clean water. Dunk and wash the paint roller in the soapy water, then rinse it off with the clean water. Repeat this process until your paint roller is as clean as the day you brought it home!
This is an easy, no-frills method of keeping your paint rollers clean. And as all painters know – professionals, amateurs, and novices alike – having clean materials is critical to achieving a high-quality paint job.
